The Formula 1 grid heads to the Styrian hills for the Austrian Grand Prix

This week, the Styrian hills will come alive with the sounds of Formula 1 power units, as the grid heads to Red Bull Ring for the Austrian Grand Prix.

The last race weekend, the Canadian Grand Prix, delivered the moment F1 fans were bracing for since the season began. In the closing laps of the race McLaren teammates Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris — the two drivers currently sitting first and second in the Drivers’ Championship standings — battled for fourth place behind George Russell, Max Verstappen, and Kimi Antonelli.

As the two McLaren teammates clashed, they came together in the run up to Turn 1, and Norris’ MCL39 suffered terminal damage as a result of the collision.

Norris took immediate responsibility for the collision, and McLaren has indicated they will turn the page and go back to “racing” this week. But the aftermath of that battle will be one of the major storylines to watch this week in Austria.

And SB Nation will have you covered every step of the way.
