Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker injured his ankle against the Vikings in Week 16. We provide updates as they come in during the fourth quarter of the game.
6:53 p.m. ET update: The Seahawks have announced that Walker is doubtful to return to the game, per Aaron Coe.
The Seattle Seahawks are in the midst of a wild one with the Minnesota Vikings, and they might have to secure the upset without their starting running back. Kenneth Walker III injured his ankle in the fourth quarter on the team’s go-ahead touchdown drive and limped off the field. Zach Charbonnet replaced him in the Seahawks backfield.
Walker had 31 rushing yards and 28 receiving yards at the time of the injury. The Seahawks scored and so we’ll be waiting to see what comes of Walker’s status on the next Seattle drive. Charbonnet got a goal-to-go carry and was stopped for a one-yard loss. Charbonnet has started three games this season when Walker was out with an injury. Two weeks ago against the Cardinals, he rushed 22 times for 134 yards and two touchdowns while also hauling in seven receptions for 59 yards.
